Performing the surgical procedure without the need for mucosal removal ensures less edema and pain, and a shorter time for soft tissue healing. With the use of this technique, while in the past at least 6 or 8 implants were required for fixed prostheses in jaws with no teeth, thanks to this technique, all teeth can be made safely using fewer implants today.
With this method called All on 4 Implant, the treatment is not only facilitated but also made safer and healthier by saving cost and time, without the need for many surgical procedures. This method, which can be easily applied in both jaws, is often preferred especially in implant applications to be made in the lower jaw.
The implants which are used, are completely standard titanium implants, but the main difference is that the treatment can be completed with only 4 implants instead of placing 6-8 implants in a single jaw in mouths with no teeth.
